Welcome

  • Hey everyone,

I've been so busy lately that I haven't been able to really develop anything.

So I'm putting "The End is Nigh" on hold for a bit.

I'm getting my life in order and just, you know, living. I'm busy working and just doing other things I can't devote myself to making a game full time, plus I still want to brush up and expand my game development knowledge. So I want to start a little project. I like to call it "Project:Boundless", you may or may not remember my first released game "Oh Wow an RPG Game", I had huge expectations with it but the game engine I was using was so restricting and I couldn't do anything I wanted, I had so much pressure to release updates and it was too much and Iw as very young and had no idea what I was doing or getting into. So I stopped and began learning other engines(Unity, UE, etc) and now I have much more knowledge and I want to continue that idea. But start from scratch and have no real pressure on myself. So this is a project, for me, and for you.

I just want to take my time, and learn more about game development as well as showing you guys basically step by step how I turn nothing into a full playable game. You'll be able to basically play the game as it's made. It will all be browser based(up until it gets too large) so you won't have to continue downloading new versions. I will also be completely open with everything I'm doing with the game. Complete changelogs between versions, I'll be answering any questions and also take advice from everyone.

My goal for the final outcome of this game is to have a HUGE fantasy world populated with so much adventure, action, and just......anything. To be able to play this game with almost no limitations, you will be able to play the game how you want and the world will change with everything you do. A true RPG experience.

I'm pretty excited to see how this all pans out and see if anyone follows this game from the ground up.
